Yup, Malmaison Glasgow has been voted ‘Scotland's Sexiest Hotel' in the Scottish Hotels Of The Year Awards 2006.

The hotel was named as the winner, after more than 23,000 votes were cast in an annual poll run by hotelreviewScotland.com. It's an interesting building for sure. Take my advice, and go for a room on the first floor, as the last time I checked in the drains were less than sexy on the ground floor. (I recall moving rooms.) OK, this was a number of years ago, and much water may have flowed since then, but it's just a recommendation...

I do remember the food and service being excellent, and the ambience is, well, Mal-ish. Mind you, a few of the Mals could do with an overhaul by now. Happily this isn't one of them.
