Bramley Homes is encouraging businesses to look at using pension funds to purchase commercial property.

Twins, Keith and Graham Smart, the Yorkshire born entrepreneurs behind the family owned Bramley Homes, are close to completion on a business park set in Yorkshire's Golden Triangle - the desirable location twixt affluent York, Harrogate and Wetherby.

Cromwell Park, a £3.3m office complex, houses units ranging from 3000 to 5000 sq ft, set just off the A1. The new site provides a platform for businesses to invest in their own property and hence, in their own future.

Bramley Homes has pre-sold the majority of units, with a leading firm of solicitors signed up for some 2500 sq ft of prime commercial space.

"Companies are now looking to buy, rather than rent," explains Graham Smart. "There are tax benefits to this, and many pro-active directors are looking into purchasing a site through their Pension Fund. It's a perfectly legitimate use of finances and one that should reap healthy rewards."

"Many Leeds-based companies are looking to relocate to greener pastures which still offer excellent transport links. Wetherby is a gem in terms of location; I think we'll see more corporates buying into such areas for commercial property," adds Smart.
